Alumni, Parents, Current Students & Friends will Gather November 26 to Celebrate Careers Of Choral Teachers Christine Bass and James Boeckle

The Reunion Concert (titled, “Lift up Your Hearts”) celebrates 20+ years of the vocal music program at Cherry Hill High School West under the leadership of recently-retired teachers Christine Bass and James Boeckle.  (Mrs. Bass retired at the end of the 2010-11 school year; Mr. Boeckle a year earlier.). The concert will take place on Saturday, November 26th at 7 pm in the "New" West Auditorium.

Featured performers will include several West alumni who have gone on to professional music and theater careers.  They include Aaron Lazar (‘94), who has starred on Broadway and is currently appearing in the Clint Eastwood film “J. Edgar;” Katie Nanni (‘94), a professional dancer as well as a Broadway actor, and Richard Crandle (’08), who appeared on national TV last year, leading several veterans of West’s male a cappella group Men of Note, on NBC’s competition show “The Sing-off.” The Reunion Concert program will also include brief testimonials from alumni who will talk about the lasting impact the program made in their lives. “Highlights” slideshows and video will be woven into the program to present as much of an historical overview as is possible in one evening.
